A Real MAN

Well, I am finding in chat, that alot of ppl are complaing. Women r complaining that they cannot find a real man. And I find both men and women complaing about things like being " stood up" or exspecting a barbie doll or a ken doll type. But i'll save that for another blog. I would like to know here what womens definitions are of a REAL MAN is????

Kind, careing, compassionate, understanding, well hung, built like the incredable hulk...what ???

Are the definitions of "the perfect man" and " a real man" the same ???

One basic problem remains, is, a serious lack of communication skills, on both parts it seems, and lately I have found myself quite frustrated by comments made in chat rooms, and when women are questioned on em, they refuse to answer.

Are "WE' as men, exspected to be mind readers ???

I know the same frustrations hold true for women, so never mind ripping me a "newone" please...Somebody has to start somewhere, and since the majority of the complaining is comeing from the women, and because I am a gentleman, ladies first.. please.......

Hi, Juice and welcome to the blog experience.

No one has ever accused me of not speaking my mind. No man has ever had to be a mind reader with me. As a writer, my best gift is self expression--for better, or for worse. My experience has been that what I say isn't heard. This can happen for any number of reasons. Probably too many to mention here.

As to the perfect man? Real. That's a great start. Healthy. Intellectual/well-educated. A gentleman. A great conversationalist. Shares interests with me. Laughs at my jokes. Isn't intimidated by my rather LARGE personality and natural dominance. Would never raise his hand to a woman or child in anger or as a statement of power. Likes doing the dishes after I dirty every pot in the kitchen with my cooking--or at least will do it in exchange for the meal. If he likes Star Trek, literature and Jazz as much as I do. . .well, BONUS!

While I do like a tall, stocky man (sturdy is GOOD!), I don't require a huge "appliance." My best lover had a wand of modest size, but his magical skills nearly made me go blind. I also don't need Brad Pitt or any other "hard body with a pretty face." While I do agree that mutual chemistry has to be there physically, I prefer a man whose face has a story to tell. Someone who has lived life fully, been around the world a few times, but still has a child's laughter in his eyes.

More than anything else, it boils down to respect. Mutual respect. From that everything else flows. Honesty. Passion. Laughter. Comfort.

I tend to avoid chat rooms like the plague. I don't even offer one on my personal message board. More BS and grief have come out of chat rooms than any other venue online it seems!

I have been in the chat room, Your funny. I think when some of the women say that they want a "real man". Alot of it comes down to what is put on the profiles. The prefer not to answers. The fudging of the weight, height and such. I guess some want a man that will come out and say, yeah I am a little skinny/over weight/bald but I will make you laugh, and talk to you of other than sex.

It for me comes down to who you are not how you look. If your going to meet me for coffee show up. If you show up, don't try to be someone your not..be yourself.

It goes the same way for women and couples. Just tell the truth. Hell if you only in there to tease and than it comes back on you. oh well ,, sucks don't it. If your unwilling to meet because of the way someone appears, sucks to be you because you might have passed up the nicest person around .

To me being real is being me. Take it or leave it. I come with all the usual shit... I complain, I laugh. and boy oh boy can I bitch. lol.

Guess every man/woman will have a different idea of what real is.
