Irony in loneliness......

"Maybe the biggest problem with loneliness is that we walk around thinking we're the only ones suffering from it."

Funny to come to a site that is all about the biggest social taboo of our culture, sexual exploration, and still find all these people not interacting. I say this because I decided to review my writings. I even requested that those that read my entry let me know and give me some feedback. 45 views- 2 comments.

There's more. Blogs are wonderful ways for individuals to disclose.... you know, I just wrote about this. Do we not owe it to an individual who we've just contacted on the most intimite level possible on a computer to at least share our reaction?
Of course there are exceptions, but it becomes obvious. A person telling about a day's outing need not a response per say, but a person who has presented themselves in words has done so for a reason. We obviously want to share ourselves. More than sharing ourselves, we want to be aknowledged, recognized, and maybe even helped.

Most of all, especially on a web site constructed for this reason, people are looking for meaningful contact. Am I wrong?
