First entry

I have the unusual fortune to have made the acquaintance of _Safira, a talented poet who became my muse for a couple of evenings... the resulting poem was posted first on her blog as a response to a poem of hers...

Her dark, sexy eyes take in his taut body,
Reveling in his power and grace.
The heavy, insistent pulse of desire
Inciting crimson blush on her face.

He smiles as her scent washes over his skin
And he reaches to trace the curve of her hips
Drawn closer, her hair softly brushes his shoulder
Her neck gently curving, surrendered to his lips

The silk of her blouse whispers off her white shoulders
His sharply drawn breath betrays tranquil glance
A trembling thumb brushes the arc of her nipple;
She shudders as his fingers on her breasts softly dance

Her hands stroke his arching chest as he shrugs
The starched white shirt from his shoulders and back
Pierre Cardin clothes, carelessly discarded
Dot the trail of their breathless and lusty attack

Now fully undressed, he pulls her figure toward him
Kicking out of her skirt, she senses his need
Fervent kisses feed passion and heat sweetly surges
His sighs become groans, and she follows his lead

He urges her back gently, easing her head to the pillow
Her sultry eyes smoking; fervent, passionate fire
His hands lightly exploring as he lies down beside her
Her murmurs urge him onward, hoarse with desire

They move without thinking, their souls reach for each other
The heat where they touch kindles fire in their skin
Their bodies shift easily into love’s ancient rhythm
Not knowing where he ends, nor where she begins

Lost in each other, their yearning and passion
Bring them finally to the peak, an unstoppable blaze
Release rushes sweetly thru ev’ry fiber of their bodies
They collapse and nestle breathlessly, melting in the haze

After a while he reaches and tilts her chin
Gazes into her eyes in the dancing firelight
And they realize that whatever led to this moment
Has given them the gift of each other ‒ for tonight.
