I continue to feel awkward about meeting a number of people within a short range of time. Before the Internet, it felt like I'd be single, meet someone who I liked, go out again and then we're in a relationship of 2 to 7 yearts. It was always considering ONE person at a time, and I made some incompatible choices.

Now, I've probably me 50 women in the last year from match dot etc., and nothing has really clicked, though in the previous two years I met 2 people and had a great 10 month and an OK 6 month relationship. I think I've gotten better at making choices recently and have also met people as friends from blogging.

Seeing as how I have no experience, I can't say much. But it seems to me that it's not really a relationship until, well, it's a relationship. Until then you're either just a couple of strangers trying to decide if you're compatible or not, or you've become friends. **shrug** No reason why you can't have friends. But then, as I said, I have no experience. And I'm still looking forward to dating.

I suppose though you could just date one person at a time.
