Long Weekend!!

Our time to celebrate the freedoms we all have is upon us. Independance Day! tHE 4TH OF jULY!
While we all take vacations and party, set off fireworks, barbeque and drink it up..... please remember the fallen heroes of the past that have sacrificed for all of us so that we may have tis freedom.
While enjoying the freedom; say a prayer that the families of those lost so that they may live knowing we all care.
Remember what this holiday is for! Do not view it as just another day off from work. This day is for us as Americans. The day we celebrate the fall of tyranny and shedding of oppression from those that did not want to allow us our freedoms.
Think of this and then consider the state of our country now. Consider how many freedoms we seem to be losing. Consider that the people are not in control anymore.
The people that we all have elected into various offices are not looking after or working for the best interests of the people as a whole.
Remember these things and consider them for all of the up coming elections.... celebrate indepedance.... but remember what it really means.

Independance day this year will probably be my first big test & I'm so glad I have you as a friend. The BBQ will be short with my son away. As mother & son we have always been especially close on this holiday due to the fact our other family members have served this country & we've always been together to keep them in our prayers & thoughts. Now I get to experience the other side. My thoughts & prayers will be with ALL men, women & children fighting for us!!! He's right, enjoy the day that's why it exist, work will be there on wednesday (I promise). Moment of silence for our soldiers, please............................................................
