I am very proud, for more reasons that I could ever count or list here. America was founded on ideas that were unheard of 230 years ago. Since that time we have grown to become the most powerful, most free country in the history of the world. I have had the privilage seeing much of the world, and have visited dozens of countries at one time or another; and I can honestly say I would not choose to live anywhere else (thats not to say some of the places I've been weren't nice, it's just that they weren't home).
I truely beleive that here in America anyone can become anything they want. Where else can the son (and even daughter) of a poor farmer or janitor grow up with the hopes of being a doctor, lawyer, senator, or anthing else they desire? Not many. Anyway, let me stop before I start rambeling. We have it very good (thanks to those that have come before us) and I just hope we all appreciate what we have, and how we got it.

I am in love with this land and all it stands for...I have issues with politicians, but no matter how bad they are there is oversight and nobody...NOBODY is exempt. I have done a small part to pay back what I have gotten with service and I think every person in this wonderful land should take the time to reflect on why it is what it is. I can go to work and make a living, but I don't have to; I can go to the movie of my choice of a topic of my choosing, or I can stay home and read a book, any book without fear of repercussions. My time in the Marines was a learning experience and taught me how good we have it compared to many other places in the world.

Because people can do damn near anything here! You might get in trouble or get taxed out the ass for it later, but people still have the freedom to do it. Thank you, Constitution. Apologies to the Constitution for us Americans not knowing you better and taking citizens and politicians to task about you!

I take a lot of pride in family. My family on both sides came here for a reason and Im proud to be a second generation of that result.

It is my home and I believe in the ideals that founded us as a nation. I have been all over the world, and there is no place that compares to it. You can see our spirit and all that makes us Americans in the posts you cited as having read in your previous post.
