Delectable Women.....2

From movie star to Princess, this lady met an untimely and tragic end, a life more potent than fiction. An ephemeral yet timeless beauty, a butterfly. I doubt there will be another woman like her.

Grace Patricia Kelly born on November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, U.S.A.

An Oscar winner, her film career was short yet certainly stellar. Less than a dozen films in half a dozen years.

With Hitchcock as director, some of her more memorable roles are encountered. Whilst filming 'To Catch A Thief' with Cary Grant (a delectable male without doubt, yet not the impetus of this post), she met her Prince and the rest is history.

As if in a fairy-tale, her life came to an abrubt and saddening end on September 14, 1982.

A delectable woman, with an elegance and beauty impossible to resist

That is exactly why she became a princess.
