What's up with people who accept a friend invite but don't send even a one line message? Is that because the standard members can only send a message a day? Seems like a weird way to start off a friendship, even a cyber only friendship.

Or maybe it's just that people want to have a lot of people listed as friends? I guess that does make you look popular.

Or does it just take too much time to write a note? It's faster to click accept than to type in a few words.

Maybe I just don't get it. I've never had a cyber-only relationship. I've had some incredibly hot email exchanges with people I'd actually met at some point, even though we'd never had sex physically. But I still had an in-person image of the person which provided a reference.

If you don't think I get it send me a friend invite and show me how.

Are you talking about accepting into your network? I dont accept anyone. Not that I dont want to, its just safer not to. I found out that whoever is in your network, if there are pics, it will show up on google search? I have kids at home, and you know how teens are. I wont take that chance of them finding out. I am not looking to be "popular". I am just me, just a simple country gal.
Its ok to have a cyber-only friendship, if you can find that. Always turns out they want to be more than friends? I dont do the friends with benefits thing. LOL. But, when you are married, you must be as discreet as possible!!
Good luck hon. Hang in there!!
