Knight in skin tight armor?

Last evening, as I was driving home, I saw two young ladies by the side of the road trying to change their tire. I pulled over a “safe distance from them ask called out “Need some help?” Their answer was an enthusiastic “Yes”
They had the car jacked up and were attempting to remove the lug nuts. They were very tight, but I finally got them off. I tried to pull flat tire off. It was very stuck and it took a lot of convincing on my part to remove it. It would have been very difficult for either of them to have done it.
I got the new tire on, replaced the nuts and lowered their car for them. One of them walked up to me, thanked me and tried to press a ten dollar bill in my hand. I of course refused, and told them that I was always happy to help a damsel in distress. She said “Well, thank you so much” and kissed me on the cheek.
We parted company and as I drove home I had a total WOW feeling. I guess that being chivalrous does have its rewards.

Awesome.. and you'll never forget it either

To this day I don't know how to change a tire, so
I hope if one day I am stranded on the side of the road
and you come along you'll help me.. lol
But it would be more then a 10 dollar bill I would
be pressing in your hand.

Really though it was very nice of you to do that.
Now a days you don't know who to trust, but at least good
guys like you are still out there!

Pet, I would love to change your tire. I would love to do a lot of things for you. Tire changing is just the only one I could do in public. Or is it?.........

If it had been anything else, I may have been late getting home that day.

Chivalry should ALWAYS be appreciated and rewarded ... no exceptions. Thanks for being their Knight Angel.

This is my blog - Comes With Warning Labels. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Safira, I would do the same for any damsel in distress. It's kind of a code I live by. I think sometimes that I was born a few hundred years too late.

Thank you Goddess. I'm very glad that I stopped. They would have been stuck and the reward was nice too.
