Who DOESN'T love the beach?

I ask you in all sincerity, can you ask for a better day?

Here in Western New York where it seems to snow for about 6 months straight, today was a paragon of beautiful summer days. It was bright, sunny, warm, and yet breezy so as not to get hot.

So I went to the beach. Specifically I went to my parent's beach house in Angola NY, right on Lake Erie. Gorgeous yellow-white sand beach, a lake the temperature of a cool bath, beach combers and dog walkers meandering across the beach.

Damn near paradise I tell you.

Threw a couple steaks on the grill along with some veggies in the grill basket, and some corn on the cob wrapped in tinfoil. Dinner was sublime, washed down very nicely with a Sarnac India Pale Ale.

It was almost hard to leave to come back home, but if I hadn't, I would have fallen asleep right on the sun warmed deck that stretches from the back yard of the house down to the golden beach.

Only thing that could have made it any better of course would have been a woman at my side. Oh well, near perfect is a far sight better then abysmal, right?

Talk to ya later, think I'll go watch a movie and pass out.

"Enough of this palaver, lets get the show on the road!"
"The best thing about a day like that is that it can't get any worse. It was a bad day AND a Monday. The rest of the week has to be better." - Hotandsteamygirl

sensualgirfriend <-- loves the beach, also. I am trying to get a few days away to shoot over to the Jersey shore or some shore so that I can smell the salt, feel the cold Atlantic water and dig my feet into the sand. My goodness, I do love that. I understand what you're talking about, totally!
