It only takes one person... ruin it for everyone!
I think I have the flu. Don't feel good.
No sex in like a month now.
Not good. Not good at all.

(March 1) -- Live lingerie models are no longer luring customers to downtown Augusta, Me.

The models, clad in thong underwear, feather boas or figure-hugging dresses, had appeared in the window of a lingerie store there, Spellbound, since September.

The display prompted debate between those in the city who thought it creatively drew attention to the store and others who saw it as risqué and indecent. A Christian group protested outside the store on Feb. 11, when it held a Valentine's Day open house.

The owner of the shop, Felicia Stockford, said she stopped the display about a week ago after one of the models received a threatening phone call and the tires on her car were slashed.

"It would be unconscionable to put her in a position where something might happen," Ms. Stockford said.

She said the woman contacted the police. "It all boils down to slashed tires, violent threats, so we have to stop," Ms. Stockford said. "And it stinks. I feel kind of sad that it's over with for here, but as long as I'm here I don't plan to do it again. I'm not having a good time anymore."

You are so right in that. I think the percentage of creeps and jerks in the general population is relatively low. That doesn't stop them from hurting far more people than their numbers might suggest.

Hope you feel better soon.

Drink lots of hot fluids

I'm talking about chicken soup (for those with their minds in the gutter)

For some reason this reminds of when I once started going to a local happy hour with a friend that once a week featured Lingerie models parading around during the happy hour. It must have been the second or third week that we went and one table over from us was sitting an old man who was trying very hard to dress "hip, young and cool". He was siting with two sort of middle aged women who also seemed to be behaving the same way. Of course. My attention and my friends did not stay on that table for long but we did notice them as somewhat standing out from the rest of the crowd.

After we'd been there about a half hour the old man began clutching his chest and very soon he was on the ground and some paramedics had been called in. They used a difibulaor (sp) thing on him with no apparent success.

Tou our eyes it appeared that he'd had a fatal heart attact. We never really found out if that was the case or not but it sure looked that way.

The thing I've found the oddest about that story is that many people I've told it to have not believed it was true. And I'm still not sure why that has been the case.

Anyways, it's not really in the same category as your newsclipping here but it's the closest thing I could dredge up from my own real life experiences.

Your story is actually more similar to incidents in which tuly sick fundamentalist christians try to hunt down Dr's who perform abortions and such. The people who do that kind of stuff truly belong in the looney bin!

And get well soon!
