Opening up

"I'm shy at first, but I open up after you get to know me."
I guess almost everyone identifies with some form of that cliche. Honesty is tough. Probably even tougher in this form, when anonymity is so easy. You can be anything you wish. Your imagined virtues can be real. The body you always wanted - well, a little photoshop or borrowing and - ta da.
But, there is another opportunity here. The opportunity to get naked. I don't mean skin. I mean really naked. To tell the no barriers truth.
I've been noticing that it seems like a lot of people have taken this route. It ain't always pretty. It's never easy, even if it is anonymous. But I think I'm glad, I'm taking this road.
Are you being honest here?

I am being so honest here. I tell things here that I don't tell outside of here. I have not lied here and don't intend to.

The 'shy at first' comment puts me off anyway. I've been in too many real-life and online situations where that comment is really another way of saying this:

"I want to figure out what you're all about before i present myself, which gives me the advantage of not getting hurt and, allowing me to pretend to be who I might think you want me to be".

...this gives the silent ones the double advantage over the talkative ones -- be careful
