I find there are alot of men that are BIG talkers on this site but, follow thru is lacking? anyone else.......

For those of you, that answered thus far 9/10/06, I appreciate your input! To minoan55 I simply started this blog to get input from other members, not to abandon the sight all together. Or to spend all my time "blogging" Actually, I have never had a blog before. I am not BASHING AdultFriendFinder itself, just asking a question. And the question still remains!

Just for the sake of discussion:

Age would have to be a factor in almost any relationship. Life goals (children, raising a family, education, career, etc. . . )are very much age related. Yes sometimes you will find two people of widely different ages that have similar life goals, but they are the exception. Also with widely disparate ages, the lack of commonality of experience makes a very large communication gap. Consider the life experiences of a 1960's era male with that of a 1990's era female. Commonality of experience is a large building block in most relationships. What do you have in common to talk about? Again, there are exceptions, but they are just that: exceptions.

oops! That was kind of off the original topic, but seemed appropriate considering the most recent posts. I'll try to do better next time.

    Have a great weekend
I have found a number of folks have came "back" to this "POST" ??? HMMMM ??
Anyway, I "myself" don't have a problem with "AGE", (UNLESS, it is a HUGE gap..... (which is what you said (I BELIEVE) in a "nutshell" )?
Myself, being 37, am not going to (I HATE this word) "DATE" a 21 year old OR a 70 year old........ On the 21 year old side, MY DAUGHTER could date them (and your right) WHAT WOULD WE TALK ABOUT ??? AND, on the upper end, late 60's and ---->, NO OFFENSE to men on here that are in that age bracket..... BUT, my PARENTS aren't even CLOSE to that age !!! I have Aunts & Uncles if I want to talk about "History". NOT MEANT AS SARCASM........AT ALL !!! But that is basically what "THE GAP" would leave us to discuss" !!
My "PERSONAL" rule is 7-8 years either way, (and STILL am uncomfortable with the <----- younger 7-8 years !! Guess I am starting to "FEEL MY AGE" *shrugs shoulders*
Thanks for your input, and welcome to my BLOG..........
Hope to see ya drop by again !!!!

Take Care,
bb

SoulKin,
FIRST, WELCOME to my BLOG !!! Always happy to see someone new !!
I had forgotten all about this post. BUT, it still remains true, I AGREE !! In my "OPINION" age should not be a factor, as long as there is "CHEMISTRY" !!! (SOME would disagree on that) and you are correct !!
Stop in again ANYTIME !!!

Take Care,

There are talkers and posers on both sides. A lot of women talk about the lack of real responses. Many are just penis pics and rude remarks. As a guy, I have found a lot of women who are fakes, trying to get you to join another site and they're not even there. Had a few, who after exchanging a number of emails, just stopped responding, never saying why.

Have met a few that were all talk but when it came time to meet, they disappeared... but the majority of people I've connected with here have been genuine and gentlemen. Lucky me!

BB,
Welcome to the Blogs...

It takes a bit of getting used to, but after awhile you can sort the wheat from the chaff. You will find some gamers here, but they are far outweighed by the down-to-earth types. If you're not sure, check with some of the lady bloggers, they seem to network a lot and pass on information on who is full of it and who isn't.

Best of luck...

Madness takes its toll. Exact change please!

As men outnumber women by 20 to 1 on this site, male timewasters are perhaps more noticable - but women do it as well.
Geographical location is another problem - finding sombody you get along with, who lives within travelling distance is just as difficult here as is is anywhere else.
There are a lot of really good people here - most of them seem to be bloggers - i have made some good friends here.... whether we ever meet in person is unknown, but I will take good friends wherever I find them.

There are talkers and there are walkers. Most are talkers. Few are walkers. I guess it goes both ways. Women who are serious need to take the time and answer emails, and if you are not intrested - just say SO!! And guys - dont harass the woman if she is not intrested. At least give her the respect by saying so. Although if you get a smart ass or uncalled for email or reply - then action should be taken.

Jeez people - be real. You know who you are.
