Alcohol Breathing Tester

I was in the PepBoys for the auto services this morning. While I was waiting there for 2 whole hours @ my 2 new rear tires, I saw a kit "Alcohol Breath Tester". It costs $11.99. I said to myself, "Now, the law must scares us real good".

The question here: Would it be helpful??

It only would be helpful if people would use it and not drive if it tells them there alcohol levels are to hi. So for some it would and other are going to drive no mater what. At least now if you want you can make an informative decision.

What I wonder is how many people have lost a love one to drunk driving. Like they say your only 3 or 4 friends away from a famous person.

I myself lost a Grandmother to a drunk driver. Sorry if I upset anyone.

I can see this...

If they had these around when I was in High School, my mother would have bought one and had it ready when I came home....and I would have been busted!!!!!

Somehow I can see me doing the above....oh hell, my nose would be a good enough tester.

I am thinking I really didn't answer your question...... LOL

I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother, antone. No, you're not upsetting us. It's good to talk about it in open, hun. My best friend was killed by a drunk driver leaving her litte girl (who is now in college) a long time ago. It was so hard for me to accept what happened, to be honest w/ you, especially after that drunk driver was out of the jail within 2 years. It wasn't enough, I know.

Sometimes the tester would be more helpful if people have the instrinct to take testing before they could regret, who know?

LOL, want2play...now, that's a good idea, becuz I'm a mother of teenager, too. I mean he's such a great guy...very athletic & volunteer. He even works volunteer w/ police to teach children @ drugs, alcohol, abuse, etc. I'm sure that he has a good common sense @ the law.
