I'm now employed

Well... I have a new job. Warehouseman at a courier company. Job has benefits including dental but only pays $12 per hour. I'll take it to put bread on the table and keep a roof over my head; but I will still be looking for that pulp mill job at $24 per hour. I gotta go where the butter is thicker....

Edie and Bard: I have an interview on Friday. I just spent 6 and a half months learning all about pulp and paper technology. I'm not going to let this job slip by (at least I hope not)

Bard: I think you should become a word smith The hours are better, pay can be better and you don't have to live with harsh chemicals...

well its def better than working for minimum wage thats for sure!! did that for the first time one summer in college. Work your ass off for a month, pulling doubles, working 14hr days. And you still get paid shit.

Sula: thank you
Dasher: I was paid this same wage in 1983 I also worked a lot of OT to make about $3000 a month. Inflation wise, I'm making half of what I did then
