MEDITATION.... a student asks.


I have been meditating over the last week or so for about ten minutes most days. I am finding it difficult to put my awareness on the out-breath. I find I can't ignore the in-breath, or really what I mean is that I find I give them both attention, and I feel more naturally aware of the in-breath."

That is fine, the important thing is to not be trying hard to just focus on the breath, there should also be a sense of relaxing into space at the same time. Alternating it with the breath is just a way of getting a sense of this.

as you ....Release....let it go.....
Know that you are releasing....the question is *what* ?

The outbreath is a release...think about that just for a
moment...
