misrepresentation pisses me off

I just spent 5 hours one way driving to see a woman in kansas. It turned out she had totally misrepresented herself to me. Totally not what I expected. She didn't get any. LOL. She tried but I have my pride. I also left a day early. But there ya go.

I beleive that you need to be totally upfront and honest. Present yourself as you are. If you don't like something about yourself. Change it. But don't try and act like you are something you're not. When someone finds out that you're a "poser" they're more than likely to be pissed off and feel cheated.

Not only that, but in this case it really wasted two weeks of my time. Time getting to know someone that obviously I woulnd't like when I met her. Oh well though. Don't try to hide shit if you truly intend on meeting someone. If you don't want to meet others, than say it right out in your fucking profile.

I'm off to the gym... Need to work out some aggression.

That really sucks, especially with gas prices like they are. What you see in our profile is really who we are. What was it that she misrepresented about? If you don't want to tell that's fine, just curious.

Five hours! She must have totally misrepresented herself!! That's too bad. What a waste of your time. Many on here have small misrepresentations and I have run into a couple bigger ones too, but nothing that was a total misrepresentation.

her weight. I don't mind someone who is a little over, but I have a limit. And she was way passed it. I actually like a woman who is about 10-15 pounds over ideal body weight. It wasn't a woman on xmatch either. Or I'd have put her name up.

Yep, lots of that going on. Not last year pictures, more like last decade. "I just gained 20 pounds thinking about you" (in the last two weeks). Sorry to hear you had to travel so far to find out.

wow...thats a bummer...i would be fucking livid about that shit...though you will just have to be more cautious next time. Make someone buy a webcam if you are going all that way to see them...i mean seriously...

i hope no guy has ever felt this way about me...cuz i have had some really suck ass encounters. i try not to ever misrepresent myself online, and i have "prefer not to say" on my body type, because i dont...im definitely on the curvier side...

oh hell, my own fault I guess, lol... I won't say it won't happen again, but it probably will. Your photo's don't look to bad there merc, believe me, a difference between "curvy" and well... you know

I refuse to send photos, and describe my looks as "barely average on a good day." I also claim a dress size two larger than my real size. Under promise and over deliver; always works. Besides, if my charming personality and sparkling wit don't get you, then my looks are irrelevant.

AdultFriendFinder taught me the value of specific, blunt questions.

Women's weight is a tricky subject to navigate. I'd hate to have to ask, but I would if it was an issue for me. I loved the advice about the web cam... heck, send one as a gift.

Daddy met a woman who brutally misrepresented herself--he was very offended. And that man loves ALL women, the truth wouldn't have been a deal breaker; the lie was. It's apparently pretty common, although a 5-hr drive gets you the "worst horror" misrepresentation award.

yup, always better to err on the side of caution. so... what is that dress size? lol

Wow! That is terrible. I am sorry! That is the part I don't understand. You will eventually meet anyway. I hope you have better luck.
