Modern science has provided us with many answers I believe concerning our carbon based ancestors and their contribution to the sexual enlightenment of our species, but one question that has been bouncing around in my head is "What makes a woman's voice sexy?"

Unlike physical appearence which seems to vary from one culture to another, and from one era to the next and is based on th abstracted qualities of symmetry and standardised proportions, vocal stimuli can hardly be quantified let alone isolated in a manner that allows it to be analyzed in a scientific manner.

What all this blah blah means is: "Have you ever gotten a hard on (guys) or wet (girls) from simply hearing an otherwise plain looking person speak in what some call 'A Sexy Voice?'"

A lady walked into my office this morning, dressed in an accentuating yet plain blue dress, and after the common salutations, proceeded to make an order for my services. Luckily she was seated accross the desk from me and couldn't see the rising buldge in my pants as she commented on my designs and what she wished to accomplish by redecorating her apartment. The meeting lasted around thirty minutes and to my surprise her voice kept ringing in my ears for a whilw after she had left. I was so turned on I had to relieve myself but for the first time ever I HEARD my fantasy in my head. I imagined her voice whispering in my ear as I dreamt of how we would have enjoyed each other's company.

This is what got me to think about phonetic stimuli.

Can anyone please put their finger on what makes a lady's voice sexy?

It is a drsire in our own self to be sexy. It can be as simple as the way a man sometime smells or how he looks or even looks at us that naturally causes our voice to change. It is our own run away thoughts also that can change our voice to be come sexy. It is primal plain an simple...it is simply us, it is simply woman, it is how we are made to be. The low soft luring call to a opposite mate. It is natural, it is how you want us to be.

It sounds to me like this quality is more animalistic in nature than I gave it credit to be.

I tend to agree that like certain enzymes our body secrets in our sweat, i.e. phermones, ones state of mind can effect not only the body language, but language itself.

That can only mean the person I was talking to was tuned in to 'horny mode'.

I wonder if it was because of my presence or whether its a new sales tactic I hadn't heard of before.

I'll be on the lookout for additional bodily signals the next time the lady passes by.

But thanks SmallTightKitty2, you have a point.

Can be an accent
The way a voice lingers on a certain word
The words chosen
The inflections, the rise and fall of the tones
The breathing in between
Warm honey
Soft velvet
Cool smoke

Works for women, too--the way a man speaks can be very telling.

it's all about the vibrations - the resonance

You cannot conceive the many without the one.
