Blog #2 learning the ropes

I don't even know who's reading these things, but someone is, because I've gotten responses from two nice ladies thus far. I am something of a novice writer--I dream of being a novelist. I've won decent money for poems and an essay, but can't even get a short story published thus far. I suppose I could say this: I'm interested in YOUR story. I'm looking for some fooling around/messing around--until I meet HER... I hope there's someone for me in the Eastern Iowa area--come out of the woodworks please--I'm tired of screwing around...
I've spent so much time in chat rooms I don't even know what to say anymore... for that matter, I don't know what to say mostly in real life either, because I really hate phatic communion--for you non-communication majors out there, that means pealing the onion--I"m tired of talking about the weather or favorite television shows, but every time you meet someone you have to start these same inane conversations all over again... I'm looking for Love... I'm ready to more wild parties with alcohol, drugs, or snatching the chance to sleep with whomever or whatever I can. I'm ready to be an honest Lover, and sometime soon, husband and father... But how does one start? Anyone know the answers?

I personally think it starts when you stop trying as hard sweetie .........but then what do I know I have never been married and not sure really that I want to be. Being a lover and someone who cares is easy......being a partner in a relationship takes so much more. Time really is best. You are young and have a bit of time. I know you probly hear that alot but it really is true. You will find love and someone to love if you stop looking so hard.
