What Really Grinds my Gears... More

Bots or fake profiles.

So there you are, looking around noticing people, a wink here an email there. Sometimes, stupidly enough you send your email address to people, knowing what a hassle being a Standard Member is, having been there yourself. Then BANG!! you've fallen for the oldest trick in the book. You've sent an email to a fake person with a fake pic, who is really some webmaster who has made about a thousand profiles trying to convince you to come see his pay website.

No, I don't want to send you my offsite email address so that you can send me a link to your bogus site that will allow me to see you, "Samantha" and your hot friends doing it just for me.

The fake profiles are extremely annoying, they are a dime a dozen. Couldn't pornographers and webmasters use a different scheme and leave us out of it? We just came here to engage in healthy, meaningful, wholesome communication with random strangers in regards to threesomes, group sex, exhibitionism, a little light bondage and S&M, oral sex, dirty talk etc. How dare they pollute our activities.

These days I wonder how many profiles are real people and how many are bots or webmasters; I'd say there are more of the latter.

Tell-tale signs of fake profiles.
1) Same profile as another person but with a different pic
2) Information inconsistencies. (Listed as Straight but talks about doing same sex, Race Asian but clearly a picture of Caucasian blonde, etc)
3) Many fake profiles are upfront about asking for you to leave your email "addy" so they can get back to you, which is BS 'cause you can Reply to their email (though there are Standard member limits).
4) Haven't filled out extra info or answered additional questions. Not that other people don't ignore this, they do, but in many cases webmasters trying to draw you to their site are too lazy to make it convincing.
and of course...
5) If a picture looks too good, it probably is. Even if the girl is sexy and you wouldn't want to miss the opportunity, ask yourself two questions. "Was this picture taken by someoen else?" (ie could someone have concievably taken this pic of themself). And "is the scene and general quality just a bit too high" This means that the person was probably photographed by a professional, which 99% of the people on this site have not. This means it is a pic from somewhere else being used on the profile.

All of these have exceptions, and most of these are common sense. but start noticing this as you seek others out, it might pay off.

You are right on here - I have only been on a short while, but have noticed the same basic points of spotting fakes. There are lots of them, but I suppose that somehow the site mkes money on them so they don't kick them out, but it makes it more tricky to guess.
