First date blues...she was not all there...

I had a bad experience on a date a little while back. Yes, someone I met from AdultFriendFinder although their profile is now gone...so I don't feel bad in posting what happened.

We had corresponded several times and we seemed to have some things in common. She lived close by, so it was a natural progression of events to set up a meet. Let me also preface this by noting 2 things. First, I believed her when she told me she had no computer skills and found it difficult to download images. This was not the first woman who made that claim, although AdultFriendFinder makes it really easy to do. So, again, I believed her. Second, I'm a very tolerant kind of guy. I always try to go with the flow, and basically I'm just looking for friends, companions and lovers. I love women of all shapes and sizes...all races, religions and political views (Although I can only tolerate right winged republicans for brief periods of time). You get the picture...I adore women.

So when we scheduled a time to meet, I was there. It was at a public place in Philly, down by the river. It was a really hot and humid day. Very muggy. I was there first...and I'm always a little anxious when I meet someone for the first time. I waited...20 minutes...30 ...she called to say she would be a little late...40...finally an hour and a half later her car pulls in. By this time I was a little upset and had considered leaving, but she called me twice to let me know she was running late.

After all this, I thought she better be a wonderful woman...anyway she pulls in. Long dark hair, kind of obscured by the tint of the car glass. The door opens, and she steps out...and she....ready for this? She, was a he. Yep I said it...he. Dressed great in a business type dress,,,all made up and ready for clubbing. A guy.

So what do you do? It was so obviously a man...I thought I was going to be ill. Hey, everyone is entitled to any lifestyle they may choose. But don't tell me one thing and then be another. I spent about 10 minutes with him/her...I was visibly shaken. And then answered a cell phone call, (that never rang...told him/her it was on vibrate), and got the hell out of there as fast as I could.

What would you have done?

Someone I chatted with had the same experience. What do people think you aren't gonna notice ?

Perhaps it was his idea of a joke !

Some joke! Can you imagine what someone who wasn't very tolerant may have done to this guy. He certainly had balls...(again no pun intended...okay maybe it was intended)...

Heh, nothing like a surprise .

(I think a TV/TS would have been better than some of the real women I've had on dates).

I have never met anyone without seeing a picture first. Yes people can send you a 20 yr old picture but not many do. I also would not wait an hour and a half for anyone, or 30 or 40 minutes for that matter. That being said, if I had gotten to the point of meeting this person I would have simply told him I didn't appreciate his disrespectfulness and would have left.
