etiquette and timing

I find e-mail very boring. MY preference is as follows:
1) I receive an e-mail from a potential"playmate";
2) I view his profile to see if he has the criteria I'm seeking;
3) I may exchange one more e-mail;
4) At this point I give him my personal e-mail address and state that I prefer to talk on the phone.
If the potential playmate does does not give me his telephone number and/or ask for my number, I soon become disenchanted with him and delete his messages.
All of the above takes about one day,sometimes two if I'm very busy. My computer is in my home and I spend a great deal of time in my studio.
Does anyone think I'm to aggressive in my approach? I get the sense of someone much beter if I'm talking with them on the phone. Doesn't everyone?

I agree! E-mail is such a "flat" medium that there is no nuance or irony available...There is no purr to hear or desire to sense...Phone is still not the same as in person contact...but a good first step...
