What shows were you not allowed to watch as a kid?

I was not allowed to watch Benny Hill!!! But I always snuck out of my room and sat in the hallway and listened It may explain why I am so sexual LOL!!!

Some of my friends were not allowed to watch Solid Gold, Three’s Company, Mighty Mouse, or Laugh In.

What TV shows were you not allowed to watch as a kid?

I don't recall ever wanting to watch a show that was prohibited by my parents. During the 'years of hell' I don't think anyone was paying attention to what I was watching. I don't think I was either.

There was a show called "James at 16" It was about a kid growing up in the midwest dealing with 16 year old boy issues. Dating, school and the episode that my mother saw, masturbation. From then on it was on my "not allowed to watch" list. Funny thing is that I was 15 when it was on, and had been "wacking off" for about three years by that time. Go figure.

My parents really never sheltered me from television. If there was something that they did not want me to see they covered my eyes.

Pretty much anything from HBO or Cinemax. Then, I discovered Friday Night Skinemaxx when I was 11, and there really was no turning back...

Of course Benny Hill was on the top of the list, and for some reason Speed Racer. Something about a kids show where people get eaten alive by pirannah. Of course H&R Puff-N-Stuff was fine. Go figure.

You know what, I don't think I was never allowed to watch anything. Did that sentence come out wrong? There wasn't anything my parents didn't let me watch. I was pretty good about self-monitoring. Until I discovered John Lequizamo's short lived "House of Buggin'". I think that was the only thing my mom never let me watch! Something about him being a stupid Puerto Rican... and she's from Cuba!!

The image of a young purry crouched down in a night shirt and white cotton panties leaning forward and listening intently is now etched in my sexually oriented brain

Benny Hill, Love American style, ...
My parents went on religious kick then it was Happy Days ...
then came cable and it was a whole slew of stuff .... no MTV or dirty stuff on HBO, Skinimax ... etc
I would sneak and watch softcore and masturbate late at night.... LOL

I thought my grandmother was going to have a heart attack when she caught me watching The Twilight Zone

She also wasn't too keen on me watching the 80's alien invader series, V

There were also a few movies on network TV that were played now and then- Towering Inferno and Invitation To Hell are two I distinctly remember.
