What Is On Purry's Mind

What a week....You would think working only two days would be a breeze, but I am exhausted!!!

For my training, I have had to build a wall display and have freaking bruises and chipped some nails. Now I wont be building displays, but to get an understanding of what the organization does, I gotta learn how to do it.

Anyways, everyone has really been nice, but we will see how things go. I am pretty much going to have to build a lot of processes and trainings and it is gonna take a lot of work.

Enough about work.....Sail and I are gonna get to see MG and Mr. Magic Fingers's tonight so I am excited and know we will be up late. I am dragging though b/c we played poker last night till 3 a.m.!!! I may just have to lay there tonight and watch LOL!!!!

On the mental note, I really have just been feeling down and my mind is racing all over the place. After being home for a few weeks, I realized just how much I like being "Suzy Homemaker" and being here for Sail and my kids. I am just feeling lost and I guess scared. It is not easy going from one of the top dogs and doing whatever you want to now being the pup and having to build trust and basically being penned up in the kennel till you do.

Anyways.....some weirdo tried to pick me up at our favorite tiki bar thursday night; it was almost comical b/c he was so obvious. We had about 10 stools between us and out of the corner of my eye, I kept watching him inch towards me stool by stool. My friend and I were giggling, but it was also spooking me. Finally he was so close that I turned my back and then all of a sudden I feel a TAP TAP TAP and with my lil bitchy attitude, I turned around and said "YES????" He said "Hi, I am Frank" and extended his hand, I extended mine back and just said "Hi" sounding annoyed. Well I would have thought he would have got the clue since i didnt say my name, but he just glared at me and said "And you are????" and I paused and said the only thing that came to mind "Joanne" Now mind you "Joanne" was not out and certainly not in the mood to play with this little toad, but it was the only thing I could think of and I just turned on my heel and left.

What else....??? Oh, on the same night I about got into a fight with this guy b/c some of my very good friends who are swingers were leaving and he had been staring at us the whole time and as soon as they left he shouted "THEY ARE SWINGERS" and this ass kept saying it over and over. Well it really pissed me off and I wasn't quite sure what the hell his point was so I leaned over and said "Hey buddy, just so you know they are very good friends of mine" He didnt know what to say and my other friend said "so if you know they are swingers, what does that make you?" He shut up pretty quick, but what an ass!!!! Who the hell did he think he was to announce it to everyone and he obviously saw me hug them so what did the ass think I was gonna say to him. I really wanted to say "AND SO I AM FUCKER and at least we are getting laid which is probably more than I can say for you!!!!" But considering he had four friends with him and I was just with my friend and her hubby, I think we would have been outnumbered.

Can you tell I am cranky?

Till later!!

Dear, dear Purry - got to keep your decorum not matter what. Sounds as if your in two minds about the job or being a home mum.
Burning the candle at both ends but then why has a candle got two ends?

This life is not a rehearsal!

The 2nd guy must have been named Frank, too. Sort of rhymes with Wank(er). 'Cause that's probably the only kind of sex those two get.

The 2nd one was a bigger wanker, though...the first one was just a little pathetic.

As for the job: things will get better. I've done the "start from scratch" move a few times. It's annoying, but it's also humbling in a good way--if it's anything to do with retail, you appreciate the help a lot more and what goes into being in the service industry. And as they say, "this, too shall pass." Hang in there in the meantime!

Sometimes, pretty lady, you wind up drawing a loser or two. It sounds like you dealt with them gracefully, and nobody got hurt. Your other recent entries sound like more fun.
