Finally we have found real people

Well after several months of trying we finally got to meet a real couple and had an absolute blast, Thank you to them. We look forward to meeting more fun couples and seeing what happens. Just so everyone knows we are not big on chatting for weeks on end and then trading pics, and then talking on the phone, and then chatting more and then getting stood up at a bar. We would much rather just meet up for a cocktail and see where it goes....we will be honest with anyone we meet and if you are not interested in us jsut say so....there are 20 million people on this site, so we won't be devastated if one couple doesn't find us attractive!!!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend and GO BEARS!!!!!!!

Hey you two we totally feel the same way about what you just said. That is why we usually like to meet in bars/clubs/coffeshops for just drinks and light conversation. Constant iming and emailing is just way too time consuming and I save it just to get the formalities and arrangements made and nothing else. That type of communication is just a poor way to get to know someone because anyone can be or misrepresent who they are behind that computer screen. Can't hide a whole lot though when meeting up face to face.

Good Luck on your searches here,

Being brand spanking new to all this fun business, I just wanted to add a note here, and let you all know that this blog has helped me understand a little better what the hell I'm doing on this site exactly, and how to go about this a little easier. At least with help making it be the best possible situation, in an open and comfortable way. (mostly with similar couples, no pressure etc.) As dumb as that may sound, I think my thinking has clarified a little in being a bit more realistic....the "hiding behind a screen name" and even in im & webcam, you can indeed misrepresent yourself, and others can as well, vice versa, even unknowingly, and some things could be misconstrued (sp?) etc. Anyway, I just wanted to say I appreciate the open and honest opinions on actually meeting people here. We have not yet met anyone in person so far, this has helped me in how we will go about actually meeting a similar like minded person or persons out for fun. I also will give more thought on the subject of not being too leery to actually set out and meet, as it is ok to tell the other person "it's not there, or working" for the other I don't know if any of that makes sense, but thanks again. done rambling again. K.
