You Say Its Urgent, EMERGENCY A Friend With Benefits Tale

I had a ladyfriend with whom I had what would best be described as a Friends with Benefits relationship, and I would like to relate to you a strange little incident that occurred one night.

I had been chatting on the phone with my ladyfriend and things heated up to the point where she was getting very hot and bothered.

"How soon can you get here? I need you now" she asked me in her small voice.

"I'll jump through the shower and be right over", I replied.

At this point things start to get a little weird, and this is what I thought you might find interesting.

I'm in the shower, having a shave and getting clean, when the song "Urgent" by Foreigner starts playing in my mind. The song fitted the situation as its about a bloke "getting the call" to come and make a booty call for a lady, cause shes hot to trot and "It's Urgent, Emergency".

So here I am with sound bites of the song floating through my head as I shower and get dressed.

I race out of the house and jump in my van.

I'm on a Lurrve Mission, so Ive got to giddy up and go.

I fire up the van and as I roll out the driveway like a Fire truck on its way to a call, I always park with my van facing out ready to go, I punch the radio on to my favourite classic hits channel Gold 104 FM [check them on the web and listen in if you like, they web cast their music]. A song comes on and can you guess which song it is?

Yep, "Urgent" by Foreigner.

As I head of on my mission of Lurrve, bopping along to the song, it strikes me that this is a really bizarre situation, that the song I had playing in my head should come on the radio just as I'm heading out on just such an "Urgent" call.

Now naturally you can fill in the blanks as to what happened next, suffice to say I didn't return home till well into the next day. Strangely as I left to go home there was another song on the radio which described what had occurred. I just cant remember that song now.

What I want to know from you readers is if you have had a similar situation and had a song play in your head then from your radio?

Is this normal or should I call Fox Mulder?

for the life of me I can't give you any examples off the top of my head.. but I've had similar things happen..and fox just won't do any thing about them anyway..unless the smoking man is the one singing the songs....

I wonder if Scully ever put in a "Urgent Call" to Mulder for a bit of workmate Friends With Benefits "assistance"?

I mean they were running all over the country [Continental U.S.]together, staying in motels, and using rental cars and govt cars, surely there must have been some sexual tension.

Curious, I just realized that the X-Files must have been one of the few long running TV series to never have done a Hawai special. Don't Aliens want to holiday in the Pacific sun?
