Here Comes The Judge

Mustang is off to court tomorrow as part of the divorce proceedings my ex wife started.
I have spent most of the day either sleeping [catching up from the weekend] or visualizing myself in court.
The reason I spent today visualizing in preparation for my appearance tomorrow is to prepare myself for the situation in much the same way as a sportsperson prepares for competition.
I will be needing all my energy for the time in court, so I dont want to waste effort worrying about my surrondings. I have run through my head likely questions to be posed by my ex's lawyer and probable sensible accurate responses on my part. I dont intend to allow her lawyer to ambush me or attempt to fluster me so any responses I will give will be measured and deadly accurate.
I will be dressing sharp and thinking sharp so i can get to see Little Mustang again soon and regularly.

Spare a thought for me tomorrow while Im on my combat mission.

So how goes the divorce proceedings? All good I hope? Not much fun having to go to court, there are usually no winners in a divorce proceeding.

Hey there.....just remember only answer what is not give any extra info....if it is a yes and no question then just say yes or no if it benefits you. Now if it would benefit you to say more, make sure you are careful. Lawyers love to trip people up. They can take a simple thing like you dropped a pencil and turn it into that you used it as a weapon and threatened someone with it.

Good luck!

I'm a little late to help with the court thing, as I've had some unpleasant distractions also. Divorce sucks, even when it's for the best, and I wish you good luck for a smooth transtion through it.

I'm a case manager in a divorce law firm ... my ability to do my job so well is rooted in going through one of the worst divorces imaginable ... it is not exaggeration when I say to you that my "ex" spent upwards of $150,000.00 to get our divorce ... the only ones that won were our lawyers !

I wish you well ... it's a terrible thing to be separated from your child !
