A Little Version of Me.....am i in trouble now

Last night I was getting some stuff done around the house. Stereo cranked... dance music pumpin... shakin my ass while doin my cleaning. Because music makes everything so much more fun. I'm gettin into the music, really movin, grindin my hips, and workin up a good sweat. When I turn around and see my two daughters doin there own booty shakes. I laughed, it was pretty adorable. Then my oldest (she's 10) starts with the hip grindin..... i could feel every blood vessel in my brain about ready to burst. Many people have told me that she looks just like me... and I know she's got a bit of a tude (as do I ). But, at that moment I realized she's a bit too much like her mother. Drastic measures must be taken. So I started making my to do list....
1. build a wall comparable to that rather large one in china
2. learn how to shoot and stock up on ammo
3. begin taking blood pressure medicine now

But then I realized that this is just parenthood. She's almost a teen and the boys are noticing. So I called the contractors and canceled the wall. I'll hold off on the blood pressure meds for now. I'm still stocking up on ammo though (just in case). I sat down and had a little chat with her. She said boys are great and all, cause they're more fun to beat up and hunt for bugs with. Ahhhh safe a little while longer.... thank goodness. I have some time for target practice.

My daughter and my wife were just alike. My wife would also tell me she was going to let her do like she did growing up. I know how my wife was and told her I'd beat the hell out of both(no I would not hit either). Well my daughter turned out to be a great person and has blessed us with our first grandchild. Daughter is 22 now so tolerate the toddler and teenage years, the best is yet to come.

I am lucky mine will turn a year old this Friday, so I have time. But being a Soldier I am already trained and ready for that day to come. Hopefully it will take awhile and lucky for me I have a 5 year old Son, so he can help me.

As A inactive U.S.Marine I found as my daughter was growing through the teenage years. As the boys would stop by and pick her up, it was best to make it clear to my wife I was going to the sports club to site in my 45. That usually did it, she was home on time. NO problems during the High School years. I thing about it was funny LoL Joe

P.S. Make it to the High School events and find out who her close friends are and thee parents. Good Luck !!!! LOL

LOL! I have 2 daughters..they are 12 and 13. I can totally relate to what your saying. I always said the boys wouldnt have to worry bout daddy bein on the porch with the shotgun..MOM would be sitting there long before dad could even think bout it.
