I think I really am a mean person

I had a good day. Isn't it always good when you run into your ex and you not only look better than you did when you were with them, but they look worse than you?

I almost feel bad for my almost-ex-husband. He unexpectedly ran into me with a huge group of my coworkers. That couldn't have made his day. Add to that the fact that he couldn't completely pretend not to know me (though he tried) since he had his (and currently my) last name written in black marker on the back of his backpack. (I never said he was high-class)

He's gained a pretty good amount of weight since we split up. In fact I'd say that he's probably gained almost as much weight as I've lost! And I must admit that I take a certain juvenile satisfaction from that. LOL.

Don't hate me.

Maybe you are a little bit, my dear. To have a negative thinking on him might be a little bit mean. Anyway, let's forget about the past, no matter how bitter it may be and forgive him. In this way, it will make us a better person. Atleast you are much better off than him now and I should say you look great, except for those butterflies all over you. Have a nice day, dear.

Hell, i run into mine every day in chatrooms. Gets a little aggravating, but my satisfaction is that all the pricey body work went to nought, cuz the minute she was healed up from the surgey, became another ladies night casualty and got knocked up immediately. I suppose i'm a little catty, but i undeerstand your feelings. They're natural.

My ex used to get mistaken for my mother, though she is less than three years older. Waitresses, mechanics, etc. would say things like, "Would your mother like a cup of coffee?" Even then I thought it was funny. Of course I wish her the best that life has to offer.

Yes, I too find common ground here. Just split up w/ ex and run into her almost every day, well she has our daughter so I'm always near anyway. But anyway, yer not a bad person. It's self-satisfying to revel in your ex's miserableness even though you may not wish anything bad on them...But give them enough time and they'll probably attract enough bad stuff on their own.

Take care, and thanks for the kind words...Much obliged ma'am
