Kicked back relaxing , enjoying life and loving it all

Some of my friends out here wanted to know why I quit blogging, I told that I hadn't quit, but that I've just been too occupied to find the time to do it.

It’s been two months since my last blog, when I announced my retirement and a full month have passed since my last day of employment. I’ve been so busy catching up on things that I wasn’t able to do while working that it’s hard to believe that time has gone by so quickly!

My family and friends are constantly calling only to find that I’m hardly ever-home, I guess everyone thought that I would be one of those people who retired only to sit home in front of the television watching pseudo law shows all morning long.

Well I must say that this retirement thing is really under-played, it’s far better then I thought it would be. I was so sure that I would miss the daily grind of fighting traffic, bumping into fellow commuters on the transit systems and constantly trying to meet someone else’s deadline on projects, that I nearly pulled all the hairs from my eyebrows from the stress of it all…lol

So far I haven’t missed a beat, there are a couple of people around the office that I miss chatting with, but I guess I can always pick up the phone and give them a shout from time to time…Oh well that’s my take on the life of an active retiree.

I am so envious! I took a year off just to do massage, and it was wonderful. I can't wait to retire. Enjoy!
