men with cancer and how they deal privately

was just wondering if any men out there would like to share their thoughts on how they felt when they heard the news CANCER. My husband has been an absolute brick and hides alot of his feelings......but you all must feel a little scared, terified and overwhelmed.....can i hear your thots?
or: anyone who has had it, how they function in the real world with their fears and realisms and what do they expect of their loved ones, in terms of , "WHAT WOULD I WANT IF I HAD IT". What would you like them to do in the way of special considerations, or

hello , i have cancer but there are different cancers which one does he have ,mine is lung cancer .i,ll be very honest for the first two days i felt self pity ,let my family know , and then i made peace with my god ,through prayer i realized that all i could do was to turn my cancer over to god and continue with my life as long as it will last. listen to your doctors if you have a good one like me and keep track of what they are doing to and for you as far as test and blood work ,with that being said live him and let him know you care make sure he takes his medication and lots of sex , his days may be numbered but all of us men feel that cuming and going at the same time is the way to go out.

Last year I was diagnosed with bowel cancer.I am nearly 60 so I suppose you must expect things to go wrong sometimes!!The only time I felt real sadness was when i was told I would have to have a Colostomy....involving a bag of course. My immediate thought was .."No-one will want to shag me with one of those attached"!! Anyway I got thro chemo- and radio-therpay ok, had the op and have had two fantastic lovers in last year..neither of whom cared less about my little 'patch' (a v small bag for 'special moments'!!) Two other ex-lovers asked to meet up before I went in to hospital and both gave me blow-jobs as they reckoned I would need something to think of while in hospital!!! I know I am older than you, but its been a year since my op and its not been at all difficult to find lots of cancer patients worse off than me, particulalry young people ! Good luck to you both anyway and God bless you! Charlie
