Tighten It...For Your Pleasure and For His

ยง During Childbirth...the area between a woman's vagina and rectum is often torn or cut. There are exercises that will help get the "pelvis floor" back into shape.

Strengthening those muscles of the "pelvic floor" are worth the effort in that they can add to your sexual pleasure. These "Kegel" exercises are simple to do. However...some women don't have a lot of sensation in the lower pelvic floor muscles. So to find the right muscles...a woman can try one or more of the following methods.

1. As you sit to urinate...when the stream slows down...try to stop it by contracting the pelvic floor muscles.
2. Insert two fingers into the vagina. Squeeze down on the fingers. You should be able to feel the pressure on the fingers. Repeat this several times until the feel of squeezing and relaxing the right muscles is familiar.
3. Or...you can ask your lover to help you...by inserting two fingers and having you squeeze until you know you're doing it correctly.

To do the exercises...

. Empty the bladder.

. Tighten the muscles for 10 seconds.

. Relax the muscles for 10 seconds.

. Repeat the sequence a total of 20 times at least 3 to 5 times a day.

. Do not contract the abdominal, leg, thigh or buttock muscles when doing these exercises. This will make them less effective.

. Keep breathing during the exercises. It's important to relax as you do them and concentrate on working the right muscles.


(Don't overdo it. These exercises are also used to help cure incontinence. If you suffer from incontinence...tiring the muscles can make it worse.)

You can also use weighted vaginal cones... baloons or Ben wa ballsinside the vagina. Working to hold the weights inside should help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

Once you get the feel of the correct muscles...you can do the exercises anywhere. Now I realize this may all sound a little clinical...but once you get the actual technique mastered...and do your daily exercises faithfully...think of the possible rewards.

Ladies...I realize many of you may already know this stuff...but when's the last time you actually did them?

i did some today while i was standing and waiting in a line. kegels come to mind when i am bored, so i do them then. now, i read your subsequent post, ben wa balls are on an entirley different level of stimulating ways to pass the time when bored. . .definetly something to think about. . . .
