Really..Please..Are You Shitting Me!

Read an article today..about Howard Stern.

Seems he's pissed more fans haven't followed him to satellite radio. He did an interview this AM with Entertainment Weekly..and lashed out at those of his fan base who haven't made the transition.

The 52 year old Stern moved his popular and bawdy morning a subscription satellite radio provider.

Stern is quoted as saying "I was just at my psychiatrist and I said, `I just got great news: We hit the 4 million mark. And I'm angry. It should be 20 million'.

He goes on to add.."It's insulting to me that everyone hasn't come with me. I take it personally. I want to say to my audience..'How dare you? You cheap bastard!'"

Well..excuse me!! Sounds to me like little Howie is getting a bit concerned. He may have over estimated his "faithful followers" Maybe he's afraid that the owners of his new home may try to recoup some of those millions they've agree to pay him.

Poor guy. He may have to down grade to a less expensive mansion. Gee..I'm really gonna to loose lots of sleep over this one!

(He needs to leave those strange looking mushrooms alone.)

Poor fellow....I have little patience with his arrogance. But I do think we have to stop sending our trash into outer space.

There is a big difference in our quality level between free and fee. I will tale lots of things for free that I would never consider paying for.

This stuff doesn't bother me, this all just a part of the character.
He is rude, arrogant, and obnoxious. But he still has an audience and freedom of speach!

I say, rock on on freak!

KMS, saw the article and thought that it is just a way for Howie to get some free pub for himself and satellite radio.

Popped in my mind that I had not heard nor seen anything promoting Howie in quit awhile! Other than the Initial Blitz when he signed to move and the follow up promos, once he went PAID RADIO, Zippo, Nada, Bupkus!

Obviously, THE shock jock of free radio, has worn off a bit over the years, and the "pay Radio" thing may have a music listening audience, but the draw of talk radio personalities may only draw hardcore fans.

Our vehicle entertainment escape time may not include wanting to hear voices and content that requires our full attention...there is the road/driving, cell phones, and just wanting all the people, voices and cars to disappear from the landscape so we can get home or to our destination with as little extraneous thought as possible.
Howie was free and a break from the normal radio voice box, time will tell (and it may be a long time), if the $$$ paid will draw subscribers.

Howie is YELLING F I R E ! ! out of a pay per visit FOREST, into a rather thick area of FREE RANGE FOLIAGE!

Sorry, I've never found him to be the least bit funny or entertaining.

Then again, I am a loyal IMUS listener!
