Household Helpers.

Pour one can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let it set for one hour to get the same cleaning effect as the standard toilet bowl cleaners. You can also pour a can into a load of laundry with grease will aid in the removal of the spots.

Got grease stains in the driveway? Just apply Easy-off oven cleaner to the affected areas, let set for a few minutes then rinse with high pressure garden hose. Repeat as necessary.

WD-40 the handyman's number one tool is a lot handier than you think. Just spray a small amount on a fishing lure, to mask the smell of human scent and watch the fish jump. WD-40 as well as the fish and wildlife does not promote use in this manner because the petroleum base product could act as a pollutant to our water ways if this method became popular. Because this product has somewhat of a pesticidal effect it makes a good cure for dog mange. A thin coat applied over trash cans repels dogs, maggots and flies.

Vaseline makes a good trout lure. Just apply a thin coat over a small piece of sponge to simulate fish egg bait.

Now for the really weird

Sue Bee honey is a good bedtime sedative for children over one year of age. After being given one teaspoon you will notice the effect within the hour. Not only does it calm a child's nervous also attracts and holds fluid in a child's body..thus acting as an anti-bed wetting agent as well. Honey unlike cane sugar is very safe for children and adults alike. It is good to let your child get ample daily exercise and good balanced meals to maximize effect.

Honey eaten on saltine crackers makes a good hangover cure..because it helps to expel alcohol from the body.

The powerful germ killing ability of Listerine makes it a good under arm antiperspirant. Just dab it under each arm with cotton balls daily to help kill the germs that cause odor before applying regular deodorant. (Never do it right after shaving) Washing the hair with it aids in the prevention of dandruff.

One part Heinz apple cider one part glycerin makes a good wart removal lotion. Just apply daily until wart disappear. A crumbled piece of bread soaked in heinz vinegar for half an hour is good in aiding corn removal. Just tape it in place let sit overnight..repeat if necessary.

If you spend a lot of time working outside in the summer..and can't get much done because of those pesky mosquitoes. Just tie a Bounce dryer sheet through a belt loop to make an effective mosquito repellent.

Dress wounds and burns. Apply Sue Bee Honey to the injury. Honey is hygroscopic and absorbs water..creating an environment in which disease-producing microorganisms..deprived of their moisture..cannot live. (Honey was a staple in the supplies for ancient healers.)

Relieve arthritis. Before each meal.. drink a glass of water containing two teaspoons Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar. Give this folk remedy at least three weeks to start working.

Repel ants. Fill cracks and make a line with Gold Medal Flour where ants enter. Ants will not cross through flour. .

Dry up acne pimples. Dab Colgate on pimples as you would use Clearasil.

I've shamelessly lifted most of this from another site that I belong to. But the man gives some very good information. I'd give his name..but I don't think he'd appreciate that.)

Did you hear they are studying bee hives because they are the most bacteria free places known to man? It seems bees are rather good house keepers. A chemical secreted by the bees protects the hives from disease and may soon help mankind. Amazing how nature continues to surprize us with natural medicines.
