Introduction

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog. I am kind of new to this whole blog thing, but will make an attempt at figuring it all out.

I am a 39 year old male, Single, Professional, romantic, friendly, honest guy looking for some excitement out of life. The last three years have been the most lonely in my life. I cant seem to meet anyone, and I have becoe shy enough to the point where making the first move in asking someone out is nearly impossible. I was hurt very bad in my last relationship, but thats what I get for getting involved with a married woman who isnt strong enough herself to leave her hubby, despite the fact she loved me more.

I am hoping that by creating my own space here on AdultFriendFinder it will allow me to move forward, heal the old wounds, and hopefully get some input as to what I could do to move on to that next step.

For all of you veterans out there to this site, what is the secret to finding what you are looking for, I have been practically a ghost here since joinig a couple of years ago, not sure what to send women that interest me, not sure how to approach someone, and although I have been to a couple o functions, there never seemed to be enough excitement or interest on my part to move forward or try to get to know any of the members i have met.

Am I pathetic? A lost cause? Will I ever get out of this funk i am in? I am more confident in myself that I was a couple of years ago, and that is due in part because of my profession. It has given me benefits that I could not get in any other profession, and I have become a better, more confident professional because of it. I am hoping to bring that confdence into my personal life as well, but it seems that the two are very different.

The expectations I had when I joined this site was to meet new friends, and possibly find someone willing to explore life with and enjoy our fantasies together. once I get to know someone the more confident I seem to become with myself, and our relationship. I am not looking to get married and hve kids, been there done that, just would like to meet interesting people in my own age bracket that is looking for the same things I am looking for.

more later.....

John
you are a wonderful writer, I shall attempt to read all of your postings.
Shy ...a place I am well acquainted with.
I would enjoy chatting with you if you would care to persue it.I am not pushy or demanding and will listen with an open ear and heart.
I dont have intentions to meet you, since the distance is great, but would enjoy a friendship, chatting and trading views on life and several of the subjects you mentioned.

For a few days, my profile has been turned off... my choice.
However I would consider turning it on so you can read it...nothing world shattering there, but just to confirm my statements here.
I understand the lonliness and angst you are feeling.

Have a wonderful day..
...m.
