The morning after.

It's been a long time since I had a morning. Normally there are circumstances that prevent mornings, such as work or a wife to go home to, or the fact that I don't live alone.

In fact, upon further reflection, I actually can't remember the last morning I had. I have worked odd shifts for a long time, so morning were out.

I never realized how awkward they can be. Myself, I'm not a morning person, period. I'm grouchy and generally non-communicative for a long time after I wake up. Add to that the fact that I sleep very poorly in strange places. Throw all those things together and we get this morning, where I fear I might have made an ass of myself and I don't even know how to brooch the subject.

So, for those of you out there more seasoned then myself, any advice on how to handle mornings?

There is no question waking up in an a strange bed is unsettling enough if you are alone in a hotel room. But waking up with someone else in their place demands a bit of finess. At your place just say, please lock the door on your way out and knock when you bring back breakfast, coffee with cream and sugar.

First - Don't freak out. They are as uncomfortable as you are. There were TWO people involved. You did what you did now move on.

Enjoy exploring your surroundings. Let them lead and follow their routine if possible. You might actually have a good time.

Second - FYI - Men enjoy sex in the morning(!) but are usually wimps at lasting then but if you are into it you may get going. Then shower. Say thanks, I had a great time and bye.

Lovin
