Titanium

Titanium
01/08/02

My mind grinds against the sheer metal
of the wall you have built,
Not even brick,
for that might allow a chink in the mortar
to grasp,
And hold to hoist
to see what it is your hurting self hides.

My mind grinds against the metal,
Churning, searing with hissing guesses.

Little girl, wanting to plea
“What is it you see
That closes you from me?”

Woman gathering strength to decide
If welder’s arc of mind
Will irreparably scar
Or bend to fathom
what tore your hiding, hurting self.

He who I can’t seem to help, but adore.

And then...I wasn't sure if I wrote it to him, or to myself. And now...I'm not sure that it really even matters.

Iwould assume you wrote this for yourself, but if not, he was one lucky guy. For you are so talented, and caring, every one of your post show this.

Did you send it to him? If so, did you write it in blood? *ducks*

You wrote that for yourself. Especially if you didn't send it.

Love;
Stronger than titanium,
Hotter than a welders arc,
Taller than a wall,
Deeper than a scar,
brighter than a reflection off of shiny metal.
Waits,
waits for you.
waits for us all.

The point is, YOU wrote it. Joe

Blood drawn, and the foe as left the field, tail twitching between his legs. He will now only play in the confines of his sty. Said so himself on the fields of Scotland.

"McVeigh had the right idea, wrong address."

"This ain't Dodge City, and you ain't Bill Hickok."

Yeah, I drew first blood. Second too. Had to go into his sty to do it. But they like to play dirty? I learned from Ric Flair. Shot low, dead center. VERY nasty, I think.

My only thoughts, if he had to hide himself away from you, then maybe there wasn't anything there in the first place. I'm so sure, you could melt steel. Maybe even kryptonite.

You, sir, have class. That was a brilliant response to a fascinating post.

Carry on! -G.

from the "little girl, wanting to plea",
to,
"Woman gathering strength to decide
If welder’s arc of mind
Will irreparably scar
Or bend to fathom
what tore your hiding, hurting self."

Now that's good writing, A!

When you love someone who shuts you out because of unrelated pain --- yes, I have some glimmer of that.

Anyway, nice. Thanks. -G.

"not succumb to that walking Death" --- No, you will not! And there will always be comrades in arms, who get your back in this righteous crusade! Adamantly indeed, -G.
