Are stretch marks sexy?

My brother thinks that pregnant women are ravishing - stretch marks included. He says stretch marks are a testimony of the love shared between a man and woman and represent the miracle of child birth.

Personally I think they are not that beautiful.

So what do people think?

Let us know.

Thank you all for replying to our post. It's been very enlightening.

I tend to agree with shyvixen1962 when she says that one would not leave their partner because they are maimed or disfigured.

So for those out there who are shallow and think nothing more about women or men, for that matter, that have been marked with those unfortunate lines, I say - latch on to reality. Stretch marks are okay.

I think a pregnant lady is gorgeous. The stretch marks are the result of said pregnancy, therefore are to be accepted (not wonderful, but not ugly just there).

I have a rather open idea for my friends. I do not look for 'Barbie' because I am sure not Ken.

I have always said stretch marks were sexy showing a story about a person like wounds on a warrior, I don't care about what anyone thinks but as for me they are remarkable.

Personally, after having three kids, the stretch marks can go. No matter how many hours I keep putting into the gym, I cannot shrink them, nor tuck them away.

The rest of the body tones up, but the efforts remain unaffected on the areas in question.
