Do you THINK you're a strong person? Maybe not...

I've been emailing back and forth with a man for a couple of months. He's been very interesting, and obviously has a sensual personality.

However ... twice he leapt off onto a tangent. Once was when he half-accusingly got upset that I was seeing and emailing others (I never thought I had to be 'faithful' to an email 'voice.'). We got through that.... but he assured me HE was the one I was waiting for.

Well, he finally phoned me, and I didn't accept the call. From his pre-paid phone. With no way to call him back when I had the time. Paranoid, a bit? You make the call.

After I commented that his voice, in the tenor range, seemed not as strong as I thought it would be, he writes back and says it's OBVIOUS that I'm going to think he's a weakling/weaker than me because of my assessment of his voice... and he rejects me on this basis.

No. Not because of that ... but because of the insecurity shown twice now. Yep, I think I'm a stronger person ... I'm probably the more secure one.

Pity. He had a great imagination and I shall miss the intelligent emails ... but not the rest.

Well for the other things hes done no comment.
As for you comment to him about his voice if you only talked in email up to that point its kind of harsh of you to criticize his voice. He was prolly just insulted.

Twister, he was definitely insulted, and THAT'S THE POINT. He took being insulted to an entire new high (or low) because he ASSUMED I was judging HIM and how dominant he was ... and it wasn't the first time he'd gotten his exercise by leaping to conclusions; it was his second. Both we out of the blue and critical of me as a person, and accusatory. Seems to me he was looking for a reason to run -- well, when people behave that way, they find their reasons!

If a woman says you're not what she expected, DO NOT ASSUME it means it's bad or an insult. Grow up already, and practice self-confidence.
