To be, or not to be, the next GF

I read a post by seductiveinblack who was wondering why she's always the friend and not the GF. Here's my advice to her, what do you think?

=========================

You're the friend because the guys know you too well. Nothing kills sexual attraction like familliarity (at least for most guys). Usually if a guy is going to make a move it's pretty early in the relationship, cause he wants to conquer, conquest of new tereitory and all that stuff. Once he gets to know you, knows the lay of the land so to speak, he probably isn't as attracted cause there isn't much exploring to do.

Girls on the otherhand seem to want the friendship first, so they put guys off thinking that once they get to be friends the sex will be better and the relationship will last longer. Usually isn't and doesn't.

So the real trick for a girl is to keep the guy at a distance long enough to feel like you know him well enough to sleep with him and then keep him at arms length afterward. As long as you are a little inaccessible he will want to conquer you again. If you ever let him get chummie the whole deal is off.

Just my 2 cents.
