The Holy Grail of Vegan Chocolate Mousse


I'm sitting here eating chocolate pudding. It's
not the tasty chocolate mouse that I crave, but the good
thing is that I've narrowed down the recipie with this
experiment. There is this stuff on the market called "Tofu
Mate". It's made of coco, cornstarch and a few
other things, but basically its coco that blends well with
tofu. My mother thinks that this is the secret to the "Tasty
Chocolate Vegan Mousse" but I suspected she was wrong.
Once I added some maple syrup and some cinnamon, it's
ok. Pretty good actually. But I still strive for the pinaccle
- the holy grail - the "Tasty Chocolate Vegan Mousse".
I now am certain that it is made by melting high quality chocolate
and blending this melted chocolate into extra firm tofu
with some rice syrup. Just as soon as I get a blender, I'm
gonna be all over that.

It's really cloudy here and reports are that it's
going to rain. I can barely wait! The sky is gray, but it's
still 101degrees out there. I bet the rain of the coming
monsoon is going to be hot and sultry. Sort of "Cat
on a hot tin roof" sultry. Mmm mm!

Hmm, I had some great vegan choc. mousse before... can't recall what it was made from. There's a great pumpkin mousse recipe I stuff myself with each pumpkin season... this post is a little date, so -- did you find that perfect recipe you were looking for?

No, I never did. I've decided to go straight to Valhrona chocolate and skip the tofu part
