Felt dying success!

My felt dying experiment was a success. I had theorized that one could dye a finished felt project instead of dying the fibers first (like all the instructions I've seen suggest). I learned a few things:

- try to remember when you have an opened kool-aid package. I didn't and I shook the package, tossing Koolaid all over. My kitchen is now purple, the clothes I was wearing are stained purple, and koolaid makes an evil smell under a stove burner.

- boiling water is hot (yeah, yeah, we all know that) so find something to hold the suspended felt above the water or you will get steam burns.

The end results were wonderful!
