Bush Beans or Bok choi?

Which would you grow if you had limited space? I'm leaning towards the bok choi just based on space, but I'd love to grow some purple beans.

Course, in Arizona, Ill be lucky to get anything that does not die. I mulched my one tomato plant.

Other news: my teacher Hated my octopus and goddess sculptures. Implied that they lacked meaning and substance. So..I thought - "ah ha! I'll show this teacher! I'm going to make something abstract and full of deep complex meaning". So I made a long thin shrine-like box. I then made a heart out of clay, attached it in the box, added vines, leaves and a smaller tomato. I told her that the meaning was my wish for the heart health of my partner to be as strong as a healthy tomato plant.
She loved it...what a FREAK. Totally bought into it. Even patted me on the shoulder (which I discreetly wiped off the second she had her back turned..I really do despise this woman)

Now she wants me to continue with this tomato-heart thing. It does not float my boat, but I'll do a few for now and see where it goes.

I prefer my beans.I love growing my green beans but only 1 plant came in this year I agree think vertical if you don't have space rather than horizontal. Purple beans? Do they really grow purple?
