Seedy vs. Classy

We have another interesting topic we need to discuss, but we are saving it for another day (so stay tuned - lol). In the meantime, here is our thought of the day.

We both greatly enjoy strip clubs, and as fortune would have it, we both like the female dancers. We do have the issue of both wanting to watch the other get the lap dance and always appreciate it when a dancer will do one for both of us at once. It saves us a game of rock, paper scissors. Don't even ask how many of our dollars went onto the strip stage floor!

Here is where we diverge in our thoughts on such places. Herb likes strip clubs as seedy and nasty as possible. Nothing like a dark, sticky floored, smoky hole in the wall for watching the fun.

Nina, on the other hand, enjoys the large classy joints. The places with DJ's, swirling lights, feature dancers, Champagne rooms and clean bathrooms .

As we live in Hampshire Country Herb wants to heard towards Club Castaway while Nina wants to go to Anthony's.

Certainly not the biggest of issues and no matter where we go, we always end up having more fun after we leave

Feel free to share your thoughts.

I agree with Herb - the castaways is a great place - not flashy or to
fake, the women seem more real, ( maybe too much silicone @ Athonys),
either way when you head home its alone with a hardon and a empty wallet. Do enjoy the creative dancers, the ones that actually put on a show. Nina - do you enjoy lap dances as much as the guys ?

I see your point suckmypep69. Anthony's is not what it used to be back in my college days, but what Herb means is if I had my choice of the clubs that are near where we live then Anthony's is my pick specifically on days when they have featured performers. The reason why I like featured performers is that they are professionals and have interesting themes to their acts. They really know how to work the room. Most importantly, they know how to work the stripper pole. I've been going to Anthony's since 1994 and the people there have always been nice (dancers, waitresses and bouncers) and I have never once had a problem with a patron, even when I have gone myself and have been the only female customer in the place.

I haven't been to Mardi Gras in about 3 years and the reason why is it was always too crowded, the girls didn't have enough protection (patrons were always harassing them), the stage is dangerous (I thought they were going to fall into the bar and some almost did), the girls seemed like they hated being there, and it felt sleazy. It felt wrong to watch the girls dance when they were so miserable.

I also had problems with other patrons at Mardi Gras because they did not know how to respect personal space. I don't know how many times I almost got into brawls with guys there (hit one once). However, I have been told by my female personal trainer, that it has changed a great deal in recent years. I'm also glad to hear that you have seen a lot of couples and females there. With such glowing endorsements I may give it a chance again sometime soon.

You are right Rich4557. T&A is great but after "been there, done that" you sorta know what to look for. A flash is not enough anymore, as a chick I am looking for the talent. I want the show...the whole package. It's a long way from Hollywood, but it's show business baby!

I believe that the lap dances are more satisfying for me than for her because I actually get more contact than he does. Everywhere I have gone the girls have actually touched me in all of my happy places. There may be a no contact in rule in Massachusetts, but I get plenty! I also like talk to the girls and by the time I leave I know their life stories, and even if the stories are not entirely true they are always interesting (none of this stupid "I'm just working here to get myself through college").

Herb says: In my opinion, most of the girls at Castaways can't dance to save themselves. However, I don't care.

Nina says : Herb, you're a pig!!

Herb says : I resemble that remark. Guess I haven't been hitting the clubs as long. On the other hand the girls there are all nice and will sometimes just sit and chat with you instead of dancing (or because they can't ). It is rarely crowded and suitable dank and sleazy. The girls even get to bring in their own music and there is no DJ. They have given me lap dances too and touched me in all my happy places. Nothing like a cool place I was at on Bourbon Street once, but still good. However, that is a story for another day.
