In Laredo, Tx

Well, I didnt get to Mathews, Mo when I expected and didnt have time to blog.
I arrived in Dallas, Tx this morning and decided to have the 'all you can stomach' buffet. Havent been right since. I really dont know why I torture myself. From now on, Im not eating at a truckstop unless it serves food. Lol.
Anyway, I spent the day driving (safely, for my friend) and now have arrived in Laredo, Tx. The Flying J has a new truckstop here which is nice. Before that, there was the Pilot truck stop. They charge $10 if you stay there over 2 hrs. I refuse to pay to park. The other truckstop is the 'old laredo'. I have always liked this place. Sure its old but the food is authentic Mexican (which I like) and they have the 'show'.

I call it the show. Basically, as soon as the sun sinks, all the hookers come out and parade around the parking lot. Sometimes INS shows up and they run like cockroaches (no pun intended). Of course, you can listen to the whole thing on the CB for free. Who is where, in what truck etc.
Its a pretty fun form of entertainment.
Anyway, now that I can get online, it might be a bit more enjoyable to come down here. Of course, in winter, its always enjoyable.

To all those who read this, take care and lets chat soon.
Rob

Yes, eating food is uaully a good idea. I'd be witty and ask something like 'if the buffet wasn't food, what was it?' but let's face it, none of us really wants to know the answer to THAT question!

Well let me address that one. It looks like food, tastes like food sometimes even smells like food but it cant possibly be. Its like McDonalds. Everything there is predigested for your convenience. The body doesnt know what to do with it so it does nothing. After three days of upset stomach and heartburn, I am feeling better. I am preparing my own food in the truck again so this hopefully wont happen again.
