I have read several blogs today acroos the web, people complaining about the way things are.

I ask these things of you, the people who complain about the way things are in this country:

1. what have you done to try and help the situation?

2. Would you consider having a homeless shelter or drug rehab center in your neighborhood?

3. When was the last time you helped ot at the suop kitchen, or help the elderly or someone who is disabled?

4. since so many people are against the death penalty, which neighborhood should we build the next prison?

5. and since NAFTA put so many people out of work, how should we pay for this, not nearly as much money going ito the budget as is going out.

6. How are we supposed to keep our country secure unless we rebuild our intellegence around the world and take care of our military?

7. Hey, let's pull our military out of Bosnia, they have been there for 18 years, and all these otehr cuntries Clinton put us in, of course that my destabilise the European economy, and we can't have that now can we?

8. Here's one for everybody that likes to shop, do you donate your old clothes to charity, sell them, or just throw them in the trash?

9. Those of us that complain about gas being so high, have you stopped buying as much or are you buying just as much and going to places you don't need to go?

10. Finally, if someone that was middle income or poor some how was allowed to get on the ballot for politacal office, how many fo you would vote for that person, or would you just vote another rich lawyer into office?

Let's see how long before the bashing, name calling and threats of violence begin pouring into my blog and my email.

First of all, good post man!

~~ I will say that I do what I can to help..
I donate often, don't go anywhere on the days I'm off if I can truly help it (which is most of the days I'm off!) You know how I feel about our government and the military.
Let the rehab come to the woods, it might help!
I have a Federal Prison about 10 miles away from my home!
My lawyer hasn't helped me yet and it's from 2 work related injuries, I don't think I'll vote him into office!
Finally, I help the those in need every day I work. Some of the days I'm off, that's why I have to go somewhere on the days I'm off. Or get something last minute from the store that Bri didn't tell me the night before, when I could have gotten it on my way home from work.

~~ I may go to the bbq, cuz I need a break. Who knows I may end up not going. That will probably be the truth. Bri doesn't wanna go and I don't want to force her. I told her the truth! Just me!
I'm happy at home, anyway!

Have a good nite man,

Before anyone asks,

I donate all my old clothes to charity

I do what I can to assist disabled veterans and disabled people

I only go palces that are essential

I recently bought new pots and pans for my home, so I donated all off my old pots to charity

I help the elderly every chance I get, from opening a door to carrying there bags from the store to their car

1. If prayer doesn't help nothing will. I pray.
2. Vegas has drug rehabs and the such everywhere, it's just most folks are unaware of this.
3. Every day. My neighbor is disabled and I am over there constantly helping in whatever way I can. We watch out for each other.
4. The women's prison is less than a mile from me, and the men's prison is about ten, maybe fifteen. Then there's another women's prison down in Jean. I'd say we have more that our share at this point.
5, 6, 7, - I'm pretty sure at this point the wake up buzzer was loud enough recently to get every one's attention.

8. First of all, don't generalize. I personally HATE shopping. For anything. But when it's time to get rid of something, no I don't 'donate' it, at least not to thrift stores. I give it to people in my neighborhood who I know will be able to use it, and totally bypass the capitalist marketing concept of putting a profit on used items.
9. The best company I've found so far is my dogs. Why would I want to leave the house, and put up with people in public who are rude crude and socially unacceptable? (and that's just the kids,,,don't even start me on the parents!) Save the gas, stay home with the dogs!

10. Now - my vote. One of my most precious possessions. Before I would just haphazardly toss it in the ring, I would have to do research. What was the attorney's specialty? What was his/her mission? Did they defend the poor/middle class? The middle class on the ballot, is he/she running because they really think they can make the community in which they reside a better place, or are they running to further their agenda or for propaganda? Are they prejudice? Or a pedophile? Or a sex offender? Or a spouse abuser? My point is there are so many variables on either side of the fence, your not asking a basic yes or no question.

I talk to my Creator, I contribute financially first to those in my family that need help and then to other charitable organizations that I am interested in. I cook meals for a blind and bed ridden lady in my neighborhood. I volunteer at and serve meals to the homeless once a month. I give my old clothes to Crosslines where I also volunteer in the food pantry. This sounds like alot but is not. The prayer or whatever you want to call it is. The rest doesnt take up that much time. I complain about the gas yet continue to use the same so BUSTED! lol
