Sex and Shopping

While shopping with wife and son for his outfitting, I was struck by the parallels between woman shopping for clothes and men hunting for a sex partner.

Women love the chase, the hunt for the elusive quarry, a good and desirable object at a reasonable price. One that will satisfy and complete the hunter in ways no ordinary object can. Something so desirable and rare that one will lay out hard earned cash for the desired consumation!

Isn't the goal and process surprisingly similar to the male's quest for a love object that can satisfy and inflame his lust? When women say they love to shop, perhaps they are shopping for love?

Hmmm...I'm with you. I prefer the hunt for the right sex partner.

Shopping is dull by comparison. Though I would like to find the Nordstrom of a Sex Partner Emporium was an easy exchange policy.

"This one didn't fit quite right."

Or "I didn't like it as much once I got it home."

Or, "My husband said it was too expensive. Now I must to return it."

And, then your heart is cheerfully handed back without hassle. Or pain.

You don't have to return services, but at least women generally don't pay the financial cost on top of the emotional one!

Reminds me of the line from a song: "I gave her seven children, now she wants to give them back!"

Also Patsy Cline's: "YOu took him off my hands, now please take him off my mind!"
