Minerals investing

Jim Kramer the Mad Money stock guru has been touting minerals investing. With gold, silver, copper, aluminum, titanium, uranium, iron ore and zinc hitting new highs, the mining companies are reaching new stock highs! Exciting stuff along with oil and gas stocks. While the rest of the stock market drifts downward...

My retirement accounts have taken on a commodity slant, with 20% in gold and silver, 20% in steel, copper, aluminum, zinc and uranium mines, 20% in oil and gas, and 40% in emerging markets from China and new Asia to Latin America and Eastern Europe. I have 2% in railroads and 5% in stockbrokers.

I totally avoid airlines, healthcare, consumer, retail, media, tech, utilities, and all standard blue chip growth stocks. I don't think any of those will do much for the forseeable future.

Nice when the accounts increased $13,500 today, and $9,000 on Thursday!
