Levels of culture

High brow entertainment: Art galleries, opera, classical music, ballet.

Middlebrow: Movies, rock and roll music, Las Vegas.

Lowbrow: Monster trucks, WWE wrestling, bowling.

I am most confortable in middlebrow entertainments but I dabble higher and lower on occasion.

I pretty much lost interest in boxing after Muhamad Ali left the stage. I have not bowled in years or watched professionals on TV in ages. Recent attempts to see and hear classical music have generally caused me to fight to stay awake, as did the Opera!

Guess I will stick with movies like the Wedding Crashers and Forty Year old Virgin! And having fun in Las Vegas!

I will go anywhere that allows me to put on my sunday best. We don't have many hob snobbin places around here so you will find me in my formal wear at the Fireman's Ball, or the Coast Guard Ball. I do go to the plays, the concerts, and used to love Roller Derby, but there is nothing quite like getting all decked out and going anywhere. Bowling is fun too. I love art galleries. I like to listen to the art lovers debate what was in the mind of the artist when he created his piece while I try to figure out why the piece is messing with my head so. Yeh, Las Vegas, no Reno....Circus Circus I win all kinds of things there, liked stuffed flowers. Have you ever gone Mud Bogging? You got to try that. Now, I never thought of classical music as highbrow, I play classical violin; I also fiddle so now I am getting confused! Ballet is wonderful as long as it isn't the Nutcracker. Wait! What box do I belong in. Am I an anybrow gal?
