I bought an oil painting!

Went to a local show at the Pasadena Art Museum, and bought an oil painting! A lovely landscape. Not too expensive and very charming. Good to support local artists and the economy... Here is a similar plein air landscape pic, but not the one I bought!

I said I was good at spending money!

did the same about a month ago. a very young artist who does these great paintings of women in silohuete in flowing gowns.

I have been thinking of buying some paintings from my local artists but haven't done it yet. I'd like to have a big oil painting of a really hot nude chic to hang over my bed.

I bought a lovely oil painting of some dogs playing poker..was amazing how real they looked and the expressions on their faces were very well done..hehe

Actually went I was in the north I bought a lovely series of prints from local artists as well as Inuit soap stone carving and birch bark baskets..it is a joy to have as well as an investment..hope you enjoy..

Sorry do not have the pic available, but the exhibit is $6 and there is free parking. Many pics are reasonably priced.
